Weird noises at certain speeds/RPM
After taking my 2010 Panamera S for an intermediate service (PDK gearbox oil change), I started noticing weird noises from the gearbox/engine. The noises are basically sharp vibration/mechanical noises, which I can hear in the cabin at 1000-2000RPM and 40-60MPH; it became louder and started coming out at even higher RPMs and speeds up to 100MPH.
I took the car twice to the dealership and they did gearbox calibrations but the sound was still there. I took it to buy a one year warranty (yes I was driving a 100k$ without an engine warranty) but the guy in the maintenance tried more shenanigans and said the problems was caused by some part which he replaced and didn't solve the issue. Now I have these options: pick it up and buy warranty or wait for gearbox and engine reprogramming to be done--the costs and time are not known.
What might the issue? Is there anything I can do to avoid such BS with dealerships?
