Rear Carpet Reversible Mat not compatible with Luggage Net
I just got a 2011 P4 and ordered a bunch of goodies. To my surprise the rear reversible cargo mat ($140) covers two of the four tie downs so you can’t use their Luggage Net ($80) – absurd! Yes, it’s absurd to pay this much for the net but I can’t believe this design flaw from Porsche. Short of cutting two slits in the mat for the D-Ring tie downs to pass though I can't think of anything else that can be done – just venting and warning others that may want this combo for their car.
I did notice two metal bars in the rear seatbacks (no idea what they are for, maybe a child seat), they sit about 5” from the cargo floor, I can attach the net to those but it doesn’t really look good.

Because of the light colored carpet in my wife's car, we bought the black cargo mat and the net. It took about fifteen minutes to make four cutouts for the D rings. It's a nice setup. Looks perfectly fine if you line it up and make good, clean cuts.
This adds a bit of utility to a vast but only marginally useful hatch cargo area.
Side note, I ordered the proper cargo mat (non Bose Hybrid) and it arrived quickly from Suncoast, bit it was a Bose unit. It was labelled as the correct part but the bag contained the wrong version. No error on the dealer's part. Just misbagged. Suncoast corrected the situation quickly.

I got myself one of those big deep cargo liners and I love it
It keeps the trunk so clean. I got this particular one because I carry things sometimes that may spill over. Matt also keeps my side compartment items in check. That little net doesnt hold the items from spilling into the trunk. Since there is not much storage in the Panny - those side pockets are great to keep junk. I have a Barmister so the amp takes up my room in the compartment under the cargo floor.
BTW, the metal bars are for the car seats.

With that massive rubber thing, you can't tie anything down. Nor can you carry anything long that requires folding down the seats.
It's all a trade off.
I have access to more utilitarian vehicles, so the mat and net are perfectly sufficient.

Well, there is always solution of going to the home depot, getting 4 o rings or d rings and attaching them to the rubber. But most porsche guys are affraid of home depot and they will not do anything to the car because its a PORSCHE and its tacky. But if someone really really needs it and is handy enough - it may work.
