upgrade turbos (engine removal required??)

Hello all. For those who have done it I'm hearing drop motor and others saying you don't. Those who have had this mid done what was the easiest way to get the turbos out. Going to be upgrading them and curious hope I don't have to remove motor will run up the labor bill. Thx

Alldata says you have to remove engine but check this..... turbocharger labor hours are 10.5 hours and 19 hours for engine replacement. Once I have the opportunity to get one on a hoist I'll review in depth. 10.5 hours to R&R turbos for an engine that is out of the car seems high.

Agree must be a way to unbolt without taking motor out if the flag time is different for both

Factory manual says you have to drop the engine. I verified.
