Looking for first Panamera

Common theme, thinking of a PGTS or a PTT. Can get a great deal on a 14 PTT Executive that is mostly the way I want it or do I look for a gently used GTS or inventory clearance GTS. I am in DFW area, anyone know of any dealers with a 14 GTS in black, silver or red that they are looking to move? Or a well loved, gently used PGTS? Or should I just but the PTT Executive and switch the brown wood out for carbon on my own?

I just bought a 2014 PTT executive for my wife. I got 35% off a gently used one. It is much better than the 2010 P4S I had. The GTS's I found were not discounted nearly enough for me to buy. The car I'll for my wife and she wanted luxury over handling. For the options you get much more car for less money after the discounts. I knew she would be happier with what she got. She does love the performance and the handling it provides.

These are different cars so it all depends on what you are looking for. If you want something that handles like a 911 then buy a 911. If you want a grand touring machine then the executive. If something more sporty than the executive the GTS should do. I could not see that much difference driving the car over a regular wheelbase except the ride seemed smoother. It still is more athletic than any other large car.

I live in Frisco and the garages are small. I have a few inches to spare so you may want to measure if your garage is short.

Thanks for the feedback. Will get a 911 separately/in addition to so 100% concur with your assessment RE getting a sports car for a sports car and a grand tourer for what it is. I will transport clients and kids occasionally, and I'm 6'4 so ride with the drivers seat pretty far back so leaning towards the executive. Not sure I like the fact that my kids in back can control the whole car A/c and love the snarl of the GTS when it fires up but still leaning towards the turbo because of the insane thrust.

Well - you will have room. The thrust is better than my 2014 C4S Cab. But when I want to have fun. The Cab is the car to drive.

I think you can prevent them from controlling everything if you choose. You can turn off their ability to change if desired. Or change them to math the front.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts and advice. Committed on a 12 Turbo S black on black with black HREs, PCCBs, and black piano trim. Should get it late next week. Drove a 14 GTS and a 14 Turbo today and just couldn't shake the s eating grin after driving the Turbo so I had to have that power. Thanks again!

Congrats on your choice and enjoy it. Many underestimate this platform, it's better than expected!

I bought on my wife a Pans Executive and loved it so much that I went out a month later and bought myself PanGTS.
