Replacing battery in 2010 ptt

Hey guys,

What's a good price to have the battery replaced at dealer/nondealer?

Is this something a non car guy can do? Advance auto parts just told me the battery is under the seat and it's not as simple as some cars.

Lastly, any brand recommendations?

Thanks!

Check under your rear cargo area for the battery. While you are swapping out the battery, best to have a battery tender or trickle charger connected to preserve the computer's memory.

Hi, first off as dudecs stated the battery is not under the seat it's in the trunk underneath the foam tray that holds accessories. Read thru this previous chat on aftermarket batteries.
