Can't decide on my upgrade
Will need advise from the tenured Porsche owners or gurus. I need to make an upgrade from my PanaS and i'm undecided between 3 vehicles and here are my sticking points
2011 or 2012 Turbo: Upside (Its a Turbo, enough said), Downside (really expensive to maintain even if you have an extended warranty on it that is if you are lucky to get one with a reliable company, exhaust note leaves alot to be desired)
2013 GTS: Upside (Amazing car, body kit, exhaust note and handling are amazing), Downside (its really hard to find the right color combo used. I dont understand why there are so many black Panamera GTS and Turbos out there- white and silver with a red interior and a low mileage GTS is still super expensive)
2014 S class: Upside (Its an S Class with a new jaw dropping body style), Downside (They are everywhere, I mean everywhere which takes away from it being unique)
HELP. What is the right decision to make?

I'm currently shopping for a panamera turbo and honestly nothing else compares and I believe that to be one of the best put together cars on the planet. The GTS is great also if you do not need all that speed - but after having a 911TT I want to feel that rush again! Good luck and as you know they are all great choices - just all a matter of what you want.
Also for what its worth, I believe the value will hold better on the Panameras in question then the 2014 S class even if currently they are all priced similarly.
Yes the S class / Mercedes lineup is overwhelmingly more abundant then Porsche (again location specific) - and nothing out there looks like the Panamera - so thats another plus for the car!
And make sure whatever you get has plenty of warranty to get you through your ownership duration or get aftermarket warranty.

I agree with you a 100% that Porsches hold their value more than an S Class cause I used to own an S550 years back. I'm just concerned with having to take the Turbo to the dealer every time for one possible issue or the other.
From reading this forum i see the Turbo despite being a beautiful car can be quite a handful and the GTS is easier to maintain with less problems.

I do share your reliability / maintenance concerns as well but sometimes just gotta bite the bullet and move forward. My previous 911s have been bulletproof through my ownership.
