AC issue

AC has been working normally in my GTS. Today, with 80 deg F outside, AC air volume was anemic, and I was not able to cool the car. I made a stop for a couple of hours and when I restarted the car, the AC was back to working properly. Any similar experiences from others? Any advice?

Not sure of the ago of your vehicle, but in the past I have had similar symptoms that I traced to low refrigerant charge. In my case the evaporator was icing up which reduced the air flow and cooling capacity of the system. Once it thawed out, it it worked OK until it iced up again. When you are having the reduced air flow problem a quick check is to leave the fan on high but turn the A/C switch off and see if the air flow increases after a few minutes. You should also see a pool of water (condensate) under the car from the melting ice - if this is the issue.
