panamera diesel 300bhp replace pads and disks

my service centre state my Panamera diesel needs replacement pads and disks
-car not driven hard so surprised on disk replacement at just 35k miles -has anybody else needed disks replacing at this mileage

Ron,

there is a similar thread over on rennlist(24,000 miles),seems that it for the Panamera at least it is Porsche SOP to replace both pads and rotors(even if the rotors are fine)

consensus is it generally isn't necessary and to push back. You really need to know the rotor measurements (thickness) to make that call.

has the brake wear warning light come on? (indicates 25% pad left)

My 2010 PTT was not driven hard and it needed pads and rotors at 18k miles. Dealer said this is normal. They wanted $5000 so I bought the parts and did it myself for $1600.
