Thank you XLR82XS for the reply, I am deciding between two panameras, one a heavily optioned 2013 GTS (32k kms) and other a decent optioned 2014 (54k kms)..13 has low km not sure on my call but I feel the sp ort chrono is a major want to have? the 14 has sport and sport plus buttons and an analog clock...but is there a easy way to tell if if has sport chrono?

Thanks all!

amgpan is infamous around these parts
Sport Chrono will have SPORT PLUS button & Stopwatch in dash.

If Panny doesnt have either of these in the interior, it doesnt have sport Chrono thus wont have launch control

When I was looking for my PTT, I was asking similar questions - do I really need or want the launch control/sport chrono plus.
Ended up going with the option.
I can say there is a big driving difference from normal to sport mode, and even more dramatic difference from sport to sport plus mode. Car much more responsive with each switch.
Have not tried the launch control yet (have the car for close to 2 months). Probably wont try until I replace PDK fluid on it. Doing some minor maintenance items on the car before I have some real fun I guess.
