Alert. Hybrid battery pack
Guys,
Unless wrong HYBRID battery pack has a warranty of 8 years.
Mine was dead after 7 years
Replacement cost $15,000 to $20,000
Car can not run without it.
BE AWARE
Have it inspected and email dealership if you have a doubt about battery hybrid performance while warranty is still good.
If it dies you maybe will have a valid claim even if warranty is out because of previous issue.
$15/20K after 7/8 years.
That`s 2 or $3,000 a year just for the Battery
I sold mine for $30,000 with $60,000
Bought a X3M competition
Dont regret it for a second

My experience with Southwest Sonic Porsche and Sonic West Porsche Houston was painful. (Houston, Texas)
Last good one, they did a scratch on the car. 5 months later, still not fixed. They touch it up... and (of course was super bad poorly done (Better not do anything).
I finally sent them an estimate and gave them 15 days to send me a check....
My 2 cents, they do a good job to hit your nerves.
5 Months to fix a scratch that they did ()Proven). That`s pretty good long time to make it right.

Maxime75US, you did the right thing to sell your Hybrid. I have 2016 Hybrid @42K, the car seems having many issues with Hybrid session, engine light On very often due to Hybrid. My car is OOW, Porsche did a good job to fix 1 thing last month for free remove rear bumper to work on the part underneath of Hybrid Battery $$$, now my car has chiller valve issue, front bumper has to remove, empty coolant and freon to replace the valve, $2600. Porsche covers half. That's Great since I have 3 Porsche. But I will sell my Hybrid and get Porsche ICE.
Not happy with Hybrid so many issues ...

For tires, cheapest route is to get OEM spec tires from Tirerack.com and take them to a local trusted shop to have them installed. Be sure to let a Porsche Service Center or any shop that has a Certified Porsche Mechanic to perform your alignment after each tire change. Most other shops will not follow procedures to the highest standards and will therefore cause damage to suspension in the long run.
It is very important to ensure that you get the N rated tires, i.e. N0, N1, etc. Porsche suspensions are design in conjunction with the stiffness of the sidewall they specified. When the shocks compresses, the tires should compress at the same ratio, as one system, so that you can maintain the grip when accelerating, cornering, or just going over bumps, as designed. If the tires compress at a higher or lower ratio, your Porsche will drive like it has defective or broken suspensions. For the best results in terms of safety and reliability, OEM tires are always the choice, not only for Porsche vehicles, but vehicles of all makes.

Greetings from Ireland. I purchased a 2015 Panamera S e hybrid in December. Overall I like the car, don't yet live the car, but I find the tyres creaking before they're warmed up very disconcerting. I have the recommended Michelins on 20" wheels, and tbh I'd prefer 19" rims and more tyre for our lovely road surfaces in Ireland. It's there any way to get less creaking from the tyres for the first few turns leaving a parking space after I start the car. I'll need to change tyres later this year anyway.
Thanks for any tips.
Any suggestions??

Any pictures of this job? Im at 45k on my 2015 S E-Hybrid.
Also, Gentlemen any clue why my E-power wont turn on? No engine light and full change on the Hybrid battery. Happened after I took it out in the rain. Now only starts with ICE.

I have porsche dealer replace the 2 belts for $490. I know it is an excessive charge. While my 2016 pan hybrid is in the shop for alignment, i ask them to do the belts. I have a loaner car. save time to bring to indy guy to change the belts and for sure cost much less ...

I just found I have brake booster issue with my durametric diagnostic today. "reduce power engine light" message was on yesterday during my drive to costco. The brake issue I just recently posted on this site for feedback. I have an appointment with Fremont Porsche this coming Friday, I see $$$ pain. I will complain to Porsche America.
I just found this posting below. my 2016 Pan Hybrid has so many issues starting mid 2020 to now. I did not drive much 2020. Hybrid is so buggy and not reliable. I am planning to trade it in for sure. My other 2 ICE Porsche are solid.
The sad thing is I just had a brake bleeding done at Porsche 2 mos ago. They did not report this issue.
>>>
Dealer found out that hybrid system has went into a Safe Mode due to a fault in the brake booster vacuum pressure sensor.
The tech found a stuck one-way valve for the vacuum system in his diagnosis.
There is a technical bulletin regarding this concern and it directs them to replace all three vacuum lines. In addition because the pump has overran trying to compensate for the stuck valve, they will replace the pump and the relay that controls it as well.

Guys,
Unless wrong HYBRID battery pack has a warranty of 8 years.
Mine was dead after 7 years
Replacement cost $15,000 to $20,000
Car can not run without it.
BE AWARE
Have it inspected and email dealership if you have a doubt about battery hybrid performance while warranty is still good.
If it dies you maybe will have a valid claim even if warranty is out because of previous issue.
$15/20K after 7/8 years.
That`s 2 or $3,000 a year just for the Battery
I sold mine for $30,000 with $60,000
Bought a X3M competition
Dont regret it for a second

The battery in my wife's '14 PSeH went bad last Fall (2020). Took eight months to get it back from the dealer. Total, all in cost was well into the $30K's, including the loaner and other items. Thankfully the eight year warranty covered it 100%.
Vehicle was seven years old and had traveled 60K miles. E-range was down to 8-9 miles. The car developed massive driveability issues. Including stalling. Low power. And ODB codes-a-plenty. It eventually bricked itself.
The only upside of the entire miserable experience is that the remanufactured battery now has 25-32 miles of E range.
For some reason, the wife is attached to this car. I tried to get her to dump it after the repair was complete back in June, but no dice. Since then it's needed a spendy A/C repair. And now I'm working through a rogue oil sensor issue. Add oil! Add oil! Too much oil! Add oil! Too much oil!
This car was in the shop for about five months during the first year we owned.it.
Wouldn't buy another new P-car if you paid me.

Sorry to hear about it. I feel your pain. I had 2016 Pan hybrid 42K miles with full options, so many problems with Hybrid. I sold it a few months ago. I am happy with Porsche ICE, I still have 2 Porsche, Caynenne and pan4. Do not recommend to buy Porshe Hybrid. I had a bad experience with BMW.
