Oh ok I didn’t know there were two recalls on it. The service guy told me they did the relay to the ac blower. Not sure man I really just want to get rid of it and buy a 911 turbo

So now I’m sure it’s ****ing $190 an hour to figure out what’s wrong with it.

Ugh! sorry to hear about this. Growing up, i truly believed to the saying... if it ain't broke, don't fix it. WIth this, you're basically damned if you don't, damned if you do.

Just confirmed with one of Porsche dealers here in Europe that mine Panamera Turbo S will have to visit them because of 3 recalls:

Don't remember first one, was related to some kind ventilator, and other two: A/C relay and shift cable.
But been told that Porsche even didn't start to make these parts yet which has to be replaced.......

AKA7 – A/C Control Unit May Short Circuit and Cause Fire – 2010-2016 Porsche Panamera

Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will add a relay harness to the A/C blower control unit and reseal it to prevent water from leaking in, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin June 23, 2019. Note: Porsche recommends that owners park their vehicle outdoors until the recall remedy has been performed.

AKB1 – Unintentional Rollaway Due to Detached Shift Cable – 2010-2016 Panamera

Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the shifter cable bushing, free of charge. Owners are instructed to use the parking brake until their vehicle is repaired. The recall is expected to begin August 11, 2019.

For those who haven't had the AKB1 done yet, it is done from below, by technicians with small hands and long tools, paper work takes longer than the fix.

Mine popped up on the site too 2013 Panny 4S. The funny thing is that I had to replace the shifter bushing last year with one from a wrecked Porsche because this recall wasn't on their radar. $1000 and was without my car for a month because it was around Christmas.

Replace plastic bushing on the selector lever cable | AKB1 | Jun 26,2019 | NHTSA Recall ID: 19V-446

Description

Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the shifter cable bushing, free of charge. Owners are instructed to use the parking brake until their vehicle is repaired

Safety Risk

If the vehicle is exited without the transmission being in Park and without the parking brake being applied, the vehicle may unexpectedly move, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

The bushing that attaches the gear selector lever to the gearbox may degrade over time, causing the bushing to detach.

Check control unit for air-conditioning blower and replace it if necessary | AKA7 | Jun 21,2019 | NHTSA Recall ID: 19V322

Description

The final remedy components will have an improved sealing to prevent water ingress. Porsche has finalized an interim remedy that can be deployed until an adequate supply of the redesigned units is available.

Safety Risk

Water intrusion, over time, could lead to a short circuit in the A/C blower control unit. In rare instances, the electrical short could result in a thermal event or fire. This issue is detectable by the driver when the vehicle is operated, and the vehicle can be brought to a controlled stop and all occupants can exit the vehicle. However, it is possible that the thermal event or fire could occur after the vehicle is parked and shut off. To mitigate this risk, customers will be provided with instructions to park their vehicles outdoors until they are remedied.

Remedy

There is a possibility of an electric short-circuit in the A/C blower control unit caused by water ingress.

If you are interested in pursuing, it may be possible to recoup some of your previous repair cost related to this recall?
