It's here:
Amazon Amazon

I ran power from the fuse panel with zero issue and it worked flawlessly.

Here is a pic of it in the vent, (excuse the dirtiness in the vent lol, i am overdue for an interior detail)

The design allows it to hook behind the vent and it hold the vent in place so no sagging downward. the magnet they give you is also very strong and doesn't slide off.

I tried the proclip phone holder, and while it is very well made, it was a bit chunky (for me).
After 3 different vent mounts this the is one i finally settled on, very happy with it and damn the magnets are really strong. It doesn't wobble at all, and the **** to tighten it doesn't come undone because there are definitive clicks that hold it there vs the crap mount I tried that kept coming loose. Really wish Rennline would make an Exact Fit bracket for the 970, it's unfortunate they have numerous Porsche models just not the 970...lame.

It looks pretty good. I have a phone holder that is based on a metallic thing that is attached to both the phone and the holder. I actually do not find it comfortable in use, but I have no other option for now so... Actually I told my husband that I need a new phone holder but, instead, he bought me a new phone case, lol. Well, I was totally surprised as it was from Spotify Code Phone Cases and had a spotify code beneath our picture with the songs I like. It was very cute of him, but not what I needed Though, definitely something I wanted!

I found using this mount to have a side effect : the smartphone deviates the cold airflow towards the interior temperature sensor and fools the A/C behavior. No too much a big deal but still...

phone mount

I mounted mine as high as I could on the vent. Doesn't block the airflow as much, and higher up (for me) is more in the view of the road ahead and easier to access the phone buttons. Can still adjust the volume of air and side-to-side flow, but the up-and-down flow can't be changed once the mount is attached to the vent fins.

Just Another Option.

I’m afraid I don’t have specific experience with this holder, but read about them somewhere, with positive memory:

The High Console Mount would be the safest bet, in case of accident the Low Console Mount may hurt the passenger left leg:

I have seen the videos of the process to install it and it seems very involved and time consuming, I would definitely have a professional install it if available.

As to the phone holder, I am using a round magnet from amazon glued to the center console and a small metal place in between my phone and the case, works well.
I never really look at the phone, the BT does a good job streaming music (Pandora) and the map guidance (from the Iphone Maps).
I bought the GTA Car Kit CarPlay for my 2012 Panny and installed it myself. Took about 1 hour overall, it was harder to tuck in the module than it was to integrate it. Pretty easy to do with their tutorial.
