Pretty cool. Is there a difference electronically from a PAM imported to other countries vs. the US? I think this would be the difference in installing and getting the unit to work properly.

 

What are we trying to do here - be tesla?

Looks nice, although to me kind of too iPaddy.

 

I would be willing to try install if I did not have to pay the 1k up front. Several reasons - 3 off top of my head...
- my PTT has Burmester with amp, etc. Means fiber ring just like on most premium audio for Porsche. Means rca connectors wont work. Saw some possible fiber/copper connectors in accessory pac pics, but no guarantee.
- There is no mention of any additional harnesses needed. Why? Example cayenne - to put in aftermarket stereo like this, need special harness that is a fiber harness - another $1400 cost.
- Looks like the install of this unit would involve cutting into the dashboard. This means YOU HAVE TO VERIFY all works OK before you cut. Or you will risk ruin dash. that is thousands more mistake if things are not perfect the way you want.

So if the vendor wants to send me a unit for install, I can play with it, but likely wont bother putting up my own money, to find out later it is not very installable, or can be installed but some features do not work.
