Turbo Downpipe (FVD vs. Supersprint)
Hey Everyone,
I'm looking for a Catless Downpipes for my 14 Panny Turbo. Ive narrowed the search down to theses two brands primarily on price point.
FVD (BES97002040S) roughly 1600$ and Supersprint (COD:247011) on sale for month of April roughly 1100$
Both Catless 70mm DPs. Ive found a lot more positive reviews on the FVD Downpipes, not much feedback for Supersprint.
I wanted the publics opinion. Was leaning towards Supersprint since their welds and quality look decent and within price range. The 500$ price difference under FVD could go towards installation labor.
Any insight is welcomed
appreciate you guys!

I’m not sure if this will apply to you, but if the super sprint downpipes are being shipped from Italy, I’d think twice about it..
My buddy ordered their downpipes for his E63s the first week of February and they told him last week that they would not ship until the end of June...yes, the end of June. Could it be because of the whole covid-19 situation? Likely, but he was informed that their factory was still working and that shipments were not delayed. Well, they were. So, he went with Capristo and ordered them Tuesday and they came Friday - from Germany.
If you somehow found a supplier that actually haves the downpipes state side then disregard all that I said.

On Supersprints Site it says Aprox availability date 4/20.20. sales from 4.1 to 4.30. Could this possibly be a good opportunity to take advantage of a covid sale
Or i could be setting myself up for disaster such as a super long wait time. Not sure since it says their orders are fulfilled using their stateside distributor Turner Motorsport out of MA. will have to see, I'm not in a rush to install since i will be purchasing a tune to avoid a cel but either way i appreciate your insight Flo!

They're good pipes at the right price. You'll love the sound/spool when complete.
