Parking Sensor Poor Sensitivity ('13 Model Year)
I'm trying to diagnose poor sensitivity of the parking sensors while I have the front bumper off the car. Dealer SA noticed the issue and said they'd look at the sensors if I decided to have them repair the horn issue. I declined as the horns alone would have been over $1000. Now that I'm thinking about them I realized that it may not just be the front that has poor response, but I'm trying to recall if the same issue occurs for the rear. I did not research this problem when I had a Tech Info subscription but searching online the box for the parking sensors may be in the trunk somewhere near the battery. If anyone knows anything please advise? I'll report once/if I find something/anything.
Thanks!
Thanks!

No lane change assist feature on this car. It was nice to have on the Macan loaner they gave me while the Panamera was in for service.

Ours doesn't seem to respond to nearby objects consistently, weak sensitivity. No error message that there is a problem with the system. I don't know if my Foxwell tool has access to read it either.

Actually I didn't even know, it was the inside passenger one, and when I did my first code reading with the tool it showed up, so I tested with a garbage can to see it was bad. I am unsure of how they would go "weak" as I thought they either work or don't. Could be one or two of the 4 perhaps.

Pulled all the front sensors from the bumper. I can't tell whether any of them are at fault after measuring resistances with a multimeter. (Each sensor has three pins).

They are ultrasonic sensors. Measuring resistance across them is like weighing your pc to see why it is so slow.
You need a code reader to see which one reports a fault, or to recalibrate them.
