2011 panamera wiper blade

I picked up some michelin wiper blades from costco for my 2011 panamera. The driver side sits nicely on the windshield but the passenger side is angled down causing the side of the wiper to scrape on the windshield. Does anyone else have this problem?

I got beam style blades, and that does not happen. Sounds like the passenger arm is bent. If you haven’t thrown the old wipers yet put the right side one back, see if it does the same. I guess it could possibly be a faulty blade. Try to bring it back to Costco and get a replacement. I suspect though it’s not an issue with the wiper blade itself, and the replacement will do the same.

I read somewhere that aftermarket wipers are longer on the passenger side than oem. I got oem ones from fcpeuro.com. Lifetime replacement haha

Having to ship the items back kind of eats into their free replacement idea, but I’ve seen they take back fluids as well! I have some DCT fluid and oil for the Panamera I should try. Thanks for the reminder about that policy of theirs.

Yea, that's true. Would need to be a parts that's worth shipping back. The whole lifetime replacement for fluids is crazy.

I guess you could ship the wipers back with oil and oil filter at the same time to save on shipping, or something like that.

I got an IACV for a Mercedes, which then developed a bad idle. I got one replacement, still developed a bad idle, and FCP Euro no longer carries the part.

eEuroparts has a similar lifetime warranty (on parts at least), and seems to ship a lot faster. (No experience on filing a claim for replacement though)...

turns out my wiper arm was bent. Not exactly sure how that happened but I got a new one and even the costco wipers fit good now.

I just don't like them because they are thicker than beam blades. Walmart has beam blades for less than $10. 🙂
