No way to change favorite stations?
Unless I just can't figure it out, I am quite disappointed in my new 2019 Panamera that I have no way to change saved favorite stations via the steering wheel buttons. Also, no radio station display option in the gauges is just crazy to me. I absolutely hate having to change my favorites on the PCM and just don't think I'll get used to it. This is my first Porsche and I know all cars have their own little quirks, good and bad, but this is just complete drop the ball on the part of Porsche in my opinion. I know the diamond button can be customized and they got really close by giving the option to change to next track or frequency, but that misses the mark. How has this programming not been updated. Who scrolls through all the frequencies. Please help if you know something I don't.

I'm not sure about the 971, but the 970 certainly has the capabilities you're looking for. I find it hard to believe Porsche would go backwards.
My suggestion is to spend some time w/ a sales advisor at your local dealership and ask them to walk you thru it. Best of luck!

The OP is correct. The 971 does not have a way to change radio stations from the steering wheel, except for programming a multi-function button as already mentioned, and that gives you the ability to change the frequency only in one direction, not both. You learn to work around it, but it is a poor design.
