Missing vacuum hose?

Missing vacuum hose?
Was poking around the engine bay the other day and came across what I think is a missing vacuum hose, would appreciate any help from the knowledgeable folks on this forum (or anyone who has a few minutes to compare these pics to their own car)...
The reason I think a vacuum hose may be missing is because the piece circled in red in the photo below has a hole on the end, where you'd typically expect a vacuum hose to be attached, but none is. For perspective - this photo is taken from the driver's side fender, facing into the center of the engine bay, near the driver's side cylinder bank. I'll also attach a 2nd photo showing its location in the engine.
For those with 970 Turbos - does yours have a vacuum hose there? Or is there nothing attached on the end, similar to mine? Would appreciate any help. Car is running fine, no CEL or rough idle or anything, but just thought I'd ask anyway.

You could have a local indy do a "smoke test", which will reveal/locate any vacuum leaks. A Porsche dealer can also do this, at much more $$$.
You could also "plug" the line using a small piece of rubber hose blocked off with a screw at the outside end.
Put a finger on the opening when the motor is running, and feel for any suction.
Basically, if you can't fix it, it ain't broke....

Fair enough...guess I was just wondering if someone else with a 970 Turbo could take a look under their hood and compare to my photos and see if there’s a vacuum line there or not, but yeah I can ask my Indy otherwise.

I'll try to grab a picture of my 2011 Turbo tomorrow for you to compare.

Quick update for those interested...had my car at the dealer this weekend and they compared it to a 13 GTS, which also did not have a hose there. So far we’ve got:
no hose: 13 GTS, 12 turbo, 11 turbo
clearly has a hose: 10 turbo
not sure we’ve exactly reached a consensus but that’s the data so far
