Panamera Turbo, bolt on 82mm throttle body,
Just wanted to share this as when I was originally looking into this part it was difficult to find a definitive answer if it would fit or not. So after having the part for about a year in my garage today I decided to fit it.
The 82mm GT3 throttle body will fit the 970 turbo just fine. All the holes line up and the intake manifold will almost perfectly port match the TB now, the Intake mani opening is still a bit larger maybe by a few mm. I am also using the AP 3” y pipe and the larger TB just makes sense as everything lines up perfectly not with not step down, from y pipe to throttle body.
it should be noted that when changing TB’s you will need to reflash your tune to accommodate. With the FVD program you get the reflash for free if you buy the part from them. They had a great price on it. I fitted the new throttle body and put everything back together. Reflashed PCM and it started just fine idle is perfect.
It is currently raining here on the East coast but once it clears up and we get some good air I will be testing this to see if it makes a difference as far as 0-60, 60-130, 1/4 mile times.
over all the job only took about an hour and gave me a chance to realign the AP Y pipe as I never liked the way it fit before.
numbers will be posted soon.

Here we go with some updates PB times on my Panamera.
overall I would say I CAN NOT feel the difference with the 82mm TB, draggy times day it’s good for about .1 seconds off all three 0-60 60-130 and 1/4 mile.
these times are are with great weather about -500/-1000 DA!
