GTS exhaust doesn't seem as loud as previous car
Hello everyone! New user here, first time posting. I had a few questions I was hoping to get some answers, or suggestions with. I purchased a 2014 Panamera GTS in March and it was involved in a total loss accident this October. The car was rear ended and it was a hit and run. I've been dealing with insurance for about the past three months and finally replaced that car yesterday with a 2015 GTS.
One thing I noticed about the new car is the exhaust doesn't seem as loud as my previous one. It still has the GTS tones, but really only comes alive when you stomp on it. I could always hear the old car from inside the house when my wife pulled into the driveway. The new one I do not notice. Love the GTS experience and the exhaust note which is why we went with another one over the turbo.
I did verify the sport exhaust butterfly valves are open. Also read where removing the vacuum line could help make it louder, the exhaust will alway be on which I'm fine with. Just don't really see how removing the vacuum line will make it much louder when the valves are already open?
The only other thing I can think of is the new car has a Burmester and my old car didn't. Does anyone know if the Burmester stereos were built with better sound deadening material? I'm wondering if that could be why I'm noticing a difference? Any other suggestions on things I can check or do to get it a little louder? Also, I typically always drive in Sport Plus mode. That's how I drove it home from the dealer yesterday.
Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Not sure if this was an option on the GTS, but maybe it has the thermal/insulated glass(thicker)?

This means it's not due to anything in the car such as audio system or insulated glass (which I have).

This cars exhaust note seems quieter at lower rpm, it definitely sounds like a GTS when I stomp on it though.

Definitely does have the GTS growl on start up but then seems to calm back down on the lower rpm side. I’m probably over thinking it (I’m OCD). Just think my old GTS was definitely louder. Has anyone noticed a difference in pulling the vacuum lines or any similar mods to increase exhaust note? Thanks again for everyone’s input!
