Questions on Renntech Lowering Module Install

Getting ready to install the Renntech lowering module on my 15 GTS and had a question regarding opinions on the speed setting. Looks like after 30mph the system will raise back up to factory settings to avoid tire wear. Any opinions / feedback for changing this setting? I'm almost willing to sacrifice tire wear opposed to adding the additional strain on the factory air suspension. Does this mean the car will lower itself again below 30MPH, or will it just lower again when the car is parked and ignition turned off? Anyone that can chime in with feedback would be greatly appreciated. -Thanks!

I, too, was looking at the RennTech lowering module. Looks like a sweet mod but super expensive! In the end I lowered my car using a PIWIS 2 that I built (software was free and only needed clone VCI) for very little money. I will eventually do a DIY for this community of lowering with PIWIS. PIWIS also gives you a full dealer level diagnostic and maintenance tool so super versatile. Not sure if you already bought the lowering module but can save you tons of $$$ with PIWIS.

Thanks for the reply! I’ve already purchased the Renntech module but haven’t installed it yet. Got a really great deal on it, so jumped on it.

How or where did you obtain the PIWIS software for free? I will follow this thread, currently planning on ordering the Ghost links to lower for now then trying to get the lowering module. Looking forward to the diy. Thanks

Yes, sensor control arms are replaced with adjustable length control arms (also called “lowering links”). “Ghost links” are just a “brand” of lowering links.

Does this answer your question?

)))) yes, this question is declared to be solved.

.... but strange, that this sensor control arm is not sold separately, I mean OEM arm, it has part number on it, just I didn"t make proper photo of it .......:
