2014 gts question

seem have a small issue with my last post being mis catgaorized as car for sale somehow..

I have been doing a bunch of research on Panamera's and would love to get folks input on getting a 2014 panamera gts or a 2017 panamera 4s (I understand very different cars). I personally like the sound of the V8 and have found a great '14 gts with 50k miles, fully loaded for under $55,000. I guess the question I have is, is it worth spending another $20-20k and jumping into a 2017l with updated styling, iinterior, bells and whistles etc but face further depreciation vs. the '14 gts which by now has seen the most of its depreciation done already.

Already, anyone had experience with having a large dog in the trunk, 75lb animal.

cheers
G

I”ll go for the 2014 GTS for the 55k, you won’t regret the performance ride and make sure it had a good maintenance record. The 2017 4S is the 2nd generation came out and might have some issues bugs and fixes. For me I rather get the 2019 and up much pricer but some parts issues that are failing is already been fix. Just like the 2010 to 2013 they made some modification of the failing water coolant pipe that leaked out and was fixed on the 2014 to 2016.

I don't know how well a 75# dog will fit in the trunk area, but with the rear seats folded down my 2 dogs travel quite comfortably (90# Lab and 145# Swissy)

sage advice, the '19's ate still asking top dollar and given these cars depreciate a fair bit over the 1st 6 years it looks like the value play is the '14. its not a CPO porsche, the carfax shows that there have been no incidents, has had maintenance completed regularly and had the following replaced in April 2021.
  • Sway bar link(s) replaced
  • Rear shock absorber(s) replaced
Any obvious questions I should be asking the dealer?

Does it have the glued coolant pipes. Mine is a 2014 and it has them. Have them upgrade to bolted as condition of sale. How old is the battery?
