Panamera Check Engine Light CODE: P2181

it was near 0 degrees Celsius today and I was driving home and about 15 minutes into the drive I got a check engine light. Upon using my scanner at home I find out the code is:
P2181 cooling system performance.

Now my research of this code is that it is an issue with the thermostat and that it may need to be replaced. I did top up coolant a few weeks ago because it was low but i only got the code today when it was quite cold outside. I also had a start/stop deactivated message a few days prior so im thinking this P2181 code might be related to it.

I will take it to an indy to confirm if its a thermostat issue. If it is, it would also be recommended to replace the thermostat housing as well right? i have 85000km on the car and I dont think the housing has ever been replaced.
May I confirm that these are the parts i need to order?

Finally is it safe to drive with this check engine light for a few days? (coolant temperature and engine oil temperature are at the midpoint)

thank you for the advice.

I drove the car again today and i got the check engine light and the 'start/stop mode deactivated' warning. This time two codes came up when i scanned the engine:
P3081
P2181

My understanding is both these codes have to do with the thermostat so i will have mechanic check for any coolant leaks and look to check thermostat.

My question is i also asked for him to check the thermostat housing to see if the coolant pipes are loose. They mention they could use Marine Tex to re epoxy, would this be suitable?

thanks
