Palomar/Julian Run 10/7 **Updated Pics***
6:30 AM Meet at On The Border (SW corner of WestField N County Fair Mall) off Via Rancho Pkwy
Leave exactly at 7:00 AM
If there's a big group, we'll split up into a "Mild" and "Wild" group.
I guarrantee you that this route will put a smile on your face. Let's get a big group going. Invite your friends.
Some guidelines:
- Keep a good distance back. Or else you'll get blasted with pebbles. I hear some of you are running track tires 8)
- Keep an eye on the car behind you. If he falls way back, slow down and try to keep him in your sight (in case of mechanical failure, etc). The car in front of you will do the same and eventually will produce a chain reaction up to the leader.
- If the car behind you is faster, signal him to pass at a safe section (i.e., stop sign, long straight)
- We'll wait for everyone to catch up at major intersections

Beautiful shots Norman. Esp. the one with the mountains in the background. Didn't notice the skies were that clear and blue.
Man, that RUF Turbo Pepper can really haul a**. Suprised how well it handled through Palomar. Some of us hit 140-160 (KM/H for those law enforcements) on Mesa Grande. How the RUF do?

It was a clear day, and we were experiencing the early Santa Ana winds. The enhanced blue sky is created via a polarizing lens filter - it is great for landscaping and managing reflections on surfaces.
Yes, the RUF Turbo gets a move on for sure. I didn't hit those speeds, but as you witnessed, the Flying Pig could keep up with the wild bunch. For it's size (6000 pounds), it handles pretty well, though I did get an early morning workout through the twisties.
Thanks for inviting me on the run - I truely had a blast!
