I've been to WP both years, and they have had some pretty significant cars both years. Enzo, F50, Bentley that won LeMans, Daytona, CLK homologation car etc. They close the street and a lot of the shops are open. It's pretty nice to grab lunch and walk around with a glass of wine. Some even picnic. I din't go to the St Augustine event. How was it? Both sounds like the best deal.

 

I have the invite sitting on my desk for entry. Are you all wanting to show, or look? I could maybe talk with the locals here and see about a group entry....This event is like 5 minutes from where I'm building....

 

Are the accomodations within walking distance?

 

The Park Plaza is... The Mt Vernon is a stones throw. There are several hotels in the imediate area...

 

And afterwards Rob is hosting a barn raising party at his new place. Don't forget your work gloves...

 

How convenient you will be unavailable Max... did you have a premonition?

 

In talking with Britt, we agreed that Saturday we all could show at the world Golf village event ($35 per entry) as its a more relaxed and open event ..Then stay the night at the local resort/hotel/ dinner... then Sunday morning, all caravan to the Winter Park Concours event that is 1 1/2 hour away max and view the show. Then early to late afternoon, all head to there homes if they have one

ACCOMODATIONS:
I have negotiated a 16% discount for our group of atleast 10 rooms. Here are the rates:

Standard room with either 2 double or 1 king bed, normally $189/night discounted to $159/night.

Suites with either 2 double or 1 king bed, sitting area, and sleeper sofa normally $240/night discounted to $209/night.
