i'll be there but nothing nice to show with i'm on stock rims for now. GoWide i look forward to seeing your sweet widebody k04 s4 in person, i'm a definite fan of your subtle and clean look. but yes i don't think many high-end cars will be there as was in the So-Cal meet, i think it's mainly BMW this time as opposed to Ferrari and Porsche. still will be a nice meet for a nice cause though, i am just worried about parking a bit...

Who knows the audi / bmw forums to see pics, hear stories from the drive?
It was a pretty good turnout, a little unorganized, doing u turns to follow the organizer, waiting over 20min to gather everyone, lost people, accident...
It was fun playing with those M3 though!!!

Sorry, Brian, couldn't keep you company today. Had to take wifey to see Ocean's 12.
Besides, it looked too much like a zoo with all those asian bimmer gangs. Must be hell to thread thru the hills with ~100 cars.
Your boxster looks like it was ready for a rumble though

Thank GOD I didn't go. I knew it was going to be all bimmers, etc... I used to have an M5 and I know all about the Bimmer groups. They have a huge following but it's mostly young kids. If I was in my 20's I would attend in a heartbeat, but now that I am older, it's just not my cup of tea for obvious reasons.
The problem with these groups is that you have youngs kids who just don't have enough experience behind the wheel.
Here is what happened yesterday. (thank God no one died!)
- Dude totals his moms BMW
- Dude flips off the Hwy 1 cliff upside down in a convertible

Yah, after I arrived I was thinking "Jeez I hope no one comes in a Turbo" - WAY to many kids all asking dumb questions, I can't imagine how annoying it would have been to actually pull up in a high-end car.
Brian, was good to meet you though! I knew someone was going to crash on that drive, glad I didn't go . Right when we pulled up I was surprised there were so many young kids (I mean some must have been in high school). I suppose I thought the bimmer club would be all older folks...
