Fikse Wheel Contest 2012
the game is on...please use this thread for comments, questions, posting your group results (pictures, list of members and winning member)...the contest ends March 31, 2012 at midnight eastern time...have fun...get a bunch together and have one of your group win the custom set of Fikse wheels...if you post up and another group beats your number have another get together and beat their number....good luck to all and thanks for participating...we are working on getting some 6speed decals for your group get togethers...I hope we will have them in time...if not we will make sure everyone who participates receives one..thanks

hey guys, it's that time of year again and we are fortunate to be able to give away another set of custom Fikse Wheels. Fikse makes some of the best wheels in the world so get on board for this one...Basically the contest will run during the month of March...during that month the largest group get together of 6speed members (must be a member now) as confirmed by a photo and list of each member by user name will be the winner of the set of custom Fikse wheels....at the time of the get together the group will have a drawing or a contest of their own choosing to select a member of the group that will receive the wheels if they should win...to make sure weather isn't a deal breaker the get together can be a meet or just a breakfast, lunch or dinner at a restaurant....at the end of the month the winning group and the selected member of that group that will receive the Fikse wheels will be announced...I know of two groups that will have a real advantage as they already have regular get togethers (northwest and Nova/Md) so c'mon norcal, socal, ny/nj, Texas, Florida give em a run for their money...any questions feel free to pm me...more particulars will be added before March 1
btw...some members that are in areas where the weather is adverse to getting cars together should know that you only have to have a picture of the members (don't have to have cars) so you can gather in a warm place...please don't shoot the pic against a solid color background...have some evidence of the place where you shoot the pic in the background..that way a group can't have members email their pic to someone that photoshops them into the group...have fun and good luck

1. Eligibility: 6SPEEDONLINE.COM’s Fikse Wheel Giveaway (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia over the age of 18 with access to the Internet and a valid email account. All employees of Internet Brands, Inc. (“Sponsor”), all employees of the named Contest Partner, all associated agencies and their respective affiliates, licensees or agents (collectively, “Contest Entities”), and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each (whether related or not), are ineligible to participate in the Contest. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entry in the Contest constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
2. Winners will be selected from entries properly submitted and timely received during the Contest Period.
3. Contest Entry: *You may enter the Contest during the Contest Period by using an APPROVED method of entry. The APPROVED method of entry is identified in the Contest announcement and is as follows:
a. Forum Post/Posts in the “Sticky”. For 6SPEEDONLINE.COM forum entries, you must be a registered user of 6SPEEDONLINE.COM to participate. You may post a response to an authorized 6SPEEDONLINE.COM Contest forum post and automatically be entered in the poll by posting a response. Limit one entry per registered user. Multiple posts on one forum thread will be deemed one entry.
Limit one entry per person. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Incomplete entries are void. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Multiple entries and mechanically reproduced copies are void.
4. Prizes:* One prize of one set of Fikse wheels (4 wheels total) will be awarded; approximate retail value (“ARV”) is valued up to US$2,500. Prize will be shipped from the Sponsor. Prize will not be replaced if lost or stolen, is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if entire prize or a portion of an advertised prize is unavailable for any reason. The reporting and payment of any tax liabilities (federal, state and local) incurred by the winner as a result of the Contest are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any and all guarantees and warranties for merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and the winner agrees to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.
5. Selection of Contest Winners/Odds: This best display of wheels Contest criteria consists of 6SPEEDONLINE.com members posting a photo of their “best display of wheels”. The best display of wheels Contest will consist of a poll based on 6SPEEDONLINE.com members’ votes (“Judges”). The forum post with the most poll votes from the Judges for the best display of wheels will be the winner (“Judging Criteria”). The winner will be notified via private message on 6SPEEDONLINE.com, within 5 business days after the end of the Contest Period. The winner will be announced in the “Sticky”. In the event that a winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected by the second highest poll winner. Any return of prize notification or prize email as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of any prize and an alternate winner may, at Sponsor's discretion, be selected. Decisions of the Judges and Sponsor on all matters relating to the Contest are final. Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize in the event that insufficient number of eligible entries meeting the minimum Judging Criteria is submitted, as determined by the Judges and Sponsor, in their sole discretion. There will be one winner. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

The photograph must not, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Photographs deemed inappropriate will be disqualified. If the photograph includes other people, you must be prepared to provide a signed written personal release from all persons who appear in the photograph submitted, authorizing use of the photograph. If you are unable to provide all required personal releases, upon request by Sponsor and in the form provided by Sponsor, then your entry may be disqualified. If any person appearing in any photograph is a minor in their state of residence, the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required on each release. If you win, we will contact you if personal releases are needed. You do not need to send the release with your entry.
You understand and intend that any photograph or information submitted by you to Sponsor may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any photograph or information you submit to Sponsor. Agreed 100%. We've got the whole month so I figured we'd just pick a good sat. in the next few weeks...have everyone come up from Richmond and get the MD crew together...to come to Katie's and make it a big thing. Find a nice place to eat close by with plenty of parking and snap an awesome 6speed photo. We could even do our raffle for the wheels then (although we shouldn't necessarily count our chickens).

In the event that a winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected by the second highest poll winner. If you win, we will contact you if personal releases are needed. You do not need to send the release with your entry.
You understand and intend that any photograph or information submitted by you to Sponsor may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any photograph or information you submit to Sponsor. hey guys, it's that time of year again and we are fortunate to be able to give away another set of custom Fikse Wheels. Fikse makes some of the best wheels in the world so get on board for this one...Basically the contest will run during the month of March...during that month the largest group get together of 6speed members (must be a member now) as confirmed by a photo and list of each member by user name will be the winner of the set of custom Fikse wheels....at the time of the get together the group will have a drawing or a contest of their own choosing to select a member of the group that will receive the wheels if they should win...to make sure weather isn't a deal breaker the get together can be a meet or just a breakfast, lunch or dinner at a restaurant....at the end of the month the winning group and the selected member of that group that will receive the Fikse wheels will be announced...I know of two groups that will have a real advantage as they already have regular get togethers (northwest and Nova/Md) so c'mon norcal, socal, ny/nj, Texas, Florida give em a run for their money...any questions feel free to pm me...more particulars will be added before March 1
