I've driven the "doc wong" route several times myself. It's takes a lot more time and commitment to do. It's also a fairly tight course on shared road without lane dividers in some sections. Best with a smaller group. Next time maybe.

Btw, doc already has a drive planned on the same day. We'll invite him to our drive next time

We still gotta talk about a group winery drive.....

Might be risky having companies sponsoring a drive & alcohol type of event

maybe we'll do a drive by invite only......

Cab is my favorite,
My all time favorite is the '98 cab from

Vanderheyden Vineyards-Winery
4057 Silverado Trl
Napa, CA 94558

Id be down for a drive to napa/sonoma, hit up some wineries, maybe go when there is something going on at Sears Point.
Who's in ?

I take that fav back,

The best glass of wine I had, came from Mr Anagostou, we both were celebrating our new lives being single again, at last years Italiano Conourso, shared a few bottles of Opus One

Yes, their wine is quite good - I particularly enjoyed last years johannesburg riesling. Pride Mountain Winery is also great, it's a small winery up in the mountains of St. Helena.

Mondavi is also a fun place to stop, the reserve room has some good wines. My girlfriend really loved their botrytis chardonnay desert wine.
