CARS FOR THE CURE II
Colonial Town Park Heathrow Lake Mary near Orlando Florida on February 3rd & 4th.
SCHEDULED EVENTS:
"The Bash" - Friday February 3rd from 6:30 pm until 11pm.
A section of Colonial Town Parks Streets will be closed off (right in front of the restaurants) for a Block Party. It will be a ticketed event to get in. Once inside, food from several top restaurants, cocktails, live music, and auction items will all be included with 250 to 300 people expected.
"The Show" - Saturday February 4th 10am-4pm
Cars will line the streets for the auto showing of which we will have numerous classes for awards/trophies etc. Last year we had around 150 cars and bikes exotics, customs, classics, race cars and bikes. The auto showing is free to the public on Saturday and it is expected to draw more than 15,000 attendees.
Show entry is $75 per car. Show entrants will be able to get tickets to "The Bash" at a reduced price of $50 per person for up to 2 people. "The Bash" will be marketed to the outside public with an admission fee of $125 per person.
SPONSORSHIP:
Through our media sponsors this event will be heavily promoted to the public via Makes and Models magazine, Orlando Leisure magazine, Orlando Business Journal, Seminole Magazine, Lake Mary Life Magazine, Clear Channel Radio, and Clear Channel Outdoor.
TV spots begin airing two weeks prior to the show on the major networks. 500 event posters will be displayed throughout the Orlando area, 5000 direct mailers will be distributed, and internet promotion will also be incorporated. Marketing efforts will start as early as November. Show sponsors will get huge exposure being a part of this... it's a real win win deal.

Presenting Sponsor: $10,000
Gold sponsors: $3,000 to $5,000
Silver sponsors: $2,000
Booth sponsorship: $750 for a booth/table

Attendees have been asking about activities for the woman. I spoke with Rob and he gave me the scoop
There is a spa, Movie Theater and boutiques in the area. They are all giving discounts to everyone involved with cars for the cure.
So, Bring your wives, girlfriends so they can enjoy themselves as well
Yesterday, there was a small get together with the S. Fl. Crew, the plan is to leave Friday morning for the event and make a stop to meet up with Robert M and JP.

Bad news all! If your in Orlando area we are getting slammed with heavy rains and its supposed to clear only in time for a second storm to hit us tonight. Predictions are that it isnt supposed to clear up until tomorrow (Sat) afternoon by 1.
