Have to bow out, I have appointments on both weekends that must be taken care of. If we get to a run in Paso Robles area, consider me again.

When are most of you thinking of going? The first or second weekend?
We are thinking of going the first weekend.

Is there a meeting place that you guys prefer? Santana Row is too far south to meet I think. I am thinking somewhere closer to the peninsula. Maybe in Foster City.

We can even meet at the Vista Point right across Golden Gate Bridge in Marin if that works with everyone.

Let me know what you guys think.

Here's a couple good places to stay right up in the wine country, donno about avail though.

I'm personally planning on it being a day trip, and if I get too drunk I'll pass out at my friend's pad in Santa Rosa.

Good question. We have been looking into places to stay, and routes to get there and back, but any advice would be appreciated.

Ok, please pardon the ghetto drawings I did on MS Paint, but the overall plan is to go from 101N, exit River Rd., WestSide Road/ West Dry Creek Road, to Healdsburg, down south Eastside Road to Old Redwood Highway, and end the day. Maps with my crappy drawing below...

The Pink circles are the wineries we can/should visit.

Oh... did I mention that's $10 TOTAL for drinking as much as you want at hundreds of wineries (as long as you bring a designated driver)?

I also like to mention this won't be a super spirited drive as we will be wine tasting...

Is there still any interest in this? Seems like the group is pretty scattered. I will still be going, you guys can PM me if you want to meet up somewhere up there. I don't want to wait forever at the visitor area of Golden Gate if no one will show up
