Hey guys, the lady and I had a blast! Lots of fun, and even better to get to know some of you guys. Lets plan something again soon... and hopefully some sun as well. But I'll be first to admit, those roads were a bit scary man with all that rain.

By the way, anyone need a set of stock turbo wheels. The tires aren't great, but they are taking up room in the garage. Could be a great set for tracking, let me know. They are in excellent condition from what I remember.

Its funny they dubbed it the 'secret road.' haha... but yeah, I think its called high bridge road. I used to drive it all the time, had a girlfriend that lived on that road, know it like the back of my hand. Fun road, but real dangerous w/ all the others driving crazy on there w/ street bikes etc. But I still love it.

lol yeah I know, it's not so "secret", I loved thrashing my NSX's and M3 on that road Although It can/could get scary with all of the trucks and gravel on the road.

Ever tried driving that road with heavy fog? lol very "exciting"

Wish I could of made it out to the drive

You guys should try driving it on a late summer day as the sun is going down going east to west. It is way more dangerous. The sun is in your face and you can't see what's coming. Not recommended!

We will have to plan a drive over to Leavenworth and drive a road I discovered between Leavenworth and Lk.Chelan. It is Nirvana. We should do it on a hot summer day early in the morning. Unbelievable! Wide shoulders and you can see 3 to 4 corners ahead of you.........so cool!

Heh....the one that was really fun is NOT the High Bridge road. It's something else. I didn't want to mention it in the open forum because then cops or something might go and wait for us.

Ok, next drive for me is March 10th. Lets meet at Lowe's in Mill Creek again at 9:00 AM:

http://www.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=l...local&ct=image

From there, we drive for an hour and a half on some nice back roads and twisty roads, then end up at Red Hook Brewery for lunch at 10:30 AM.

Of course we'll do a photoshoot then.

RE: Red Hook Brewery for lunch
Is this a bar? Or can someone under 21 come eat lunch too? Damn I need to find that fake id...
Actually this conflicts with the pcar XXX breakfast, so if it's not 'family' friendly, I do have somewhere else to go

Although I'd prefer being with you guys

Looks like on redhook's site it says under the tours that minors are welcome, I could assume that it would be ok in the food too... But it would suck to be wrong

Anyone know?

Typically from what I have seen it's the older 911's.

80s and below. They do drives everytime it's sunny
Guy that's been there says they are the best sleepers, they might be old, but faster than ****.

They all get together in the morning for breakfast at the XXX drive-in in issaquah on the second saturdays of every month.

You can read more about it here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...hreadid=267147

Quite the long thread, careful not to get sucked in

I will definatly come to one of these I should have my car back that friday, if I dont' maybe I can talk the mechanic into taking my other 944 as collateral... It needs a CV anyway...
