FYI last 2 Exotix Runs had 150 and 130 car turnouts.

Hovik,

I will be there: Porsche 965

As for the exotic comments. If Audi RS4's are in then M5's are good to go. All I ask is to keep out the EVO8, M3, S2000 set that crashed the fall run.

Craig

Thanks for joining.

I understand the comment and I do agree. And like I posted on the other thread I was going to post about the event there in about a week.

No bashing intended, but solely for the benefit of the charity (assuming this is the true intent here), regardless of whether you had 150+ at your last Exotix event, wouldn't it help the charity out even more if you allowed more cars to go? I mean, I doubt the charity could care less if the cars that rolled up were Lambos or Yugos, as long as the funds received could be put to good use, no?

If the issue of keeping the cars limited to exoticars is solely because of the name of the run being called exotix, then why not just change the name to "Exotix & Fun Car Run" or something? Problem solved.

Good points.
The main part of this event is the Exotix Run. Charity and Raffle are added to the run. Exotix Run is going to happen 3 times a year, and it won't be always charity and if it is, it won't always be the same charity.

People understand "fun car" in their own ways. I'm sure my neighbor considers his VW Gti a VERY fun car.

Not bad collectively.

But the 95 cars I was referring to were all M5s.

Hence the reason I inquired of Horvik if the M5 was "exotic" enough for the "charity event".

How bout "exotix and lesser cars" run then?

Seriously though, fair enough. Have fun!

Good turnout.
Sorry, but I wouldn't want so many M5s to come.
Hope you get 195 next time!

I did not mean to upset the apple cart. Even though it is a charity event I think a limit has to be set (exotics in this case). There was a little chaos trying to keep 100 plus vehicles together on the last two runs.

Anyway, as for determining what is an exotic or not I am by no means a good judge of that since I don't think of a Porsche as an exotic.

Depends what Porsche, but that is just my opinion.. And yes, the 100 + cars of the last run was a bit hectic, still had a great turnout and alot of fun both times though!
