We have an automotive gathering every Sunday morning in Burtonsville, MD. We call it the Church of the Holy Donut. Its held at the Dunken Donuts/Amish Market parking lot at Old 29 and 198 from 8 to 11am.

We have a real diverse gathering of exotics, classic cars, hot rods, pro street, rat rods, muscle cars and anything else you can think of. We had a couple of Porsches and Ferraris this past Sunday along with a Gulf Ford Gt as well as some 9 second vettes and a host of other fun cars to look at.

If you are in town, drop on by before the day gets too old. Come mid spring to summer, we will have over 150 to 200 cars in the lot.

kvisser, we've got a great group of local guys that are meeting up twice a month in Rockville, so maybe I can get the group to caravan over to the donut!

We'll just have to get up a little earlier.

 

I'd love to see you guys. come on by. Its actually a year round event. Due to global warming, we had over 120 cars the 2nd week in January. On the colder days, the cars get smaller but the stories get bigger.

The show is mostly hot rods. But there are some spectacular hot rods that show up. Always something interesting to look at.
