The United Exotic Run
This is my first post on 6speed. You guys have a great forum (I have been browsing it for years without actually registering) and an awesome collection of cars. Now, on to the run 
If you own a Porsche where do you hang? 6speedonline. A Ferrari? Ferrarichat. A Lambo? Lambo-Power. We are a bunch of owners/enthusiasts with our own separate space on the web, to talk about the one thing we all enjoy – our cars. The raging bull, the praising horse, the almighty Porsche. In the end it all boils down to the same: Our love/passion for these amazing cars.
Over the years several runs have been put together. Several runs have been very successful. What’s not to like? A bunch of online friends meet each other, put faces on screen names – making it all the more fun/personal the next time we see each other online.
The norm has been to organize brand-related runs. Let’s go beyond the regular boundaries, let’s all enjoy the passion we all share: Driving some of the most amazing automobiles in the world. Let’s gather all of the different exotics together to make an amazing event that will not be forgotten any time soon.
“The United Exotic Run” will combine our love for cars along with a real social gathering of owners and enthusiasts to really get to know one another. This will be a weekend event.
The route / plan:
Our starting point will either be LA or somewhere in OC and our destination will be Las Vegas! We would be heading out September 29th (Saturday) and driving back September 30th (Sunday).
29th - I will reserve a table at the Bellagio or another nice restaurant where we can seat the different forums at different sections of the table. A Lambo-Power section, a FerrariChat section, and a 6Speedonline section, etc. After the alcohol does its part and dinner is finishing up everybody will be talking with everybody. Gambling together or what ever it may be. It should be a fun night!
30th – We will let everybody sleep in after the late night on the 29th. Then have a late brunch. It might be fun to do an activity in LV where the different forums can compete with one another.
The plan is not complete. I need to gain interest before planning the remaining of the trip. Please PM if you are interested or post in the thread. I need some information from you guys:
* Name
* Car
* Passenger seat(s) available
* Where do you want to start the run? LA or Laguna.
We need extra seats. My friend and I are coming in from Europe, so we would need 2 seats. I was thinking of getting some good photographers a long with video camera guy or 2 that are enthusiasts to tag along so we can document the whole trip.
September 29th – you have 3 months to set aside the time for this event! Let me know.

So guys, any suggestions? I have posted this here, Fchat, and LP. I get views, but not a lot of interest. What can be improved? Why aren't people showing intrest in this event? Too far ahead of time?
