Scottsdale SECC Track day @ PIR 10/7/07
Hey Guys,
We are planning out first track day at for the season and need to gauge member interest. We are tentatively scheduled to run at PIR (Phoenix International Raceway)on Sunday October 7th. We will have 3 run groups set up, Beginner, intermediate and advanced. We will be limiting this event to 50 people so that we have ample room to enjoy ourselves on the track, so it will be on a first come 1st serve basis. There will be 4 20 minute sessions per run group so there will be plenty of track time for all. The costs of running at PIR are higher that at Firebird so the entry fee’s will reflect that. Drivers that have never driven with the SECC or have never been on the track will automatically run in Beginner. SECC instructors will decide if a Beginner is ready to move up to intermediate. We currently have 5 spots left and will be closing registration after we receive these last 5. If you plan on going and have not registered, I suggest you sign up now as you will likely not be able to show up and run the day of the event.

For those of you that are driving at the event.
There will be some road construction and roads closed so make sure that you plan accordingly. There is a mandatory drivers meeting at 7:30am (If you miss this you will not ba able to run).
Please be at the track no later than 7am.
A group of us is going to meet at Evo at 5:45am. We are leaving for the track at 6am sharp, here is the address:

Tempe, AZ 85281
