Fog light conversion to LED DRL

Fog light conversion to LED DRL
I am seeking suggestions for LEDs to convert my fog lights to DRLs. Most of the threads are a bit dated or unclear as to which color temperature would best match the Litronic (xenon) lights in a MK1 996. Thanks in advance for your reply!

I'm planning to do this upgrade also. I want to do all the interior lights at the same time. I did this with two BMWs and was super happy with the results. I bought the LED bulbs from DDMtuning. Good selection and cheap prices.
I develop LED bike lights for a living. HIDs are pretty white. Anything in the 6000 to 9000K range should be fine. Anything higher than that will look kind of purplely pink. 5700K would probably be OK, but my guess is that 6300K would be perfect.
Let us know how it works out. Along with a Bluetooth connection to the radio, these are updates that will make our 996s seem like modern cars.

Here is the original post, I tried to bake the lens off with little success, so ended up cutting and resealing them. The yellow led were not bright enough in direct sunlight so i wired the fog lights to blink and installed a yellow LED.
If you get an question on Color let me know im looking to get the HID's to match the current LED's.
