I have been thrilled with my Numeric + Function-First setup. It literally has that "rifle bolt" feel you hear about in MT fairy tales and urban legends, LOL.





I do really like that OE alloy **** above too though - not sure I have ever seen one in person. Going from leather or alcantara to metal "on-hand" always takes getting used to...

I actually love my x97 OEM aluminum shift ****. Would like to get a newer one though since it does have some scratches on it. (Expensive!)

I have a GT3RS shift ****/boot and love the feel of alcantara but wish there was more weight/heft to the whole thing.





I previously had the x97 shift **** but wasn't happy with how its appearance was difficult to maintain over time (it gets nicked, etc.) but loved the heft. I also had the OEM CF **** but disliked the plasticky feel of the CF portion.

At some point in the future I might try a weighted aluminum ****...

Personally this is by far my favorite aluminum shift ****, X97 OEM.
