All you dog owners out there....
Just how do i carry my 10kg spaniel in my GT?!
I have an old Volvo estate for that purpose at the moment so the GT is hardly being used but once in a while it would be nice to go somewhere in the GT with the dog riding along too!!
I have considered those dog boots etc..but I'm really surprised that there isn't a simpler solution than fighting to put 4 dog boots on my pet every time I want to go for a spin.
Anyone had a similar dilemma?

We teach our Great Danes to sit in the seat as a person does, 'backlegs' on the floor. (they kind of do that naturally ).
Our previous one was accustomed to ride along in the off-side backseat of my wife's convertibles that way, which gave the impression she was chauffeured around.

Thanks for the advice guys...my Volvo passenger seat is testimony to the damage my spaniel can cause with her claws!! (she is still quite young so loves to try and put her paws everywhere)
I think I'm going to try and train her to sit in the passenger foot well (whilst keeping the passenger seat well covered just in case.
Bentley...you need to make a bespoke dog carrier for the rear seats!

I bought one for my two terriers - but they spend most of the time sitting on the armrests !!
Fits OK and has holes for the rear air vents
Doesn't cover door sides - but better than anything else I could find

Put your best buddy in the front seat or rear seat. No need to get fussy over this... Never had a scuff in any car from our dogs' nails. Fur, well that is different story. Nothing a vacuum can't fix. Then again, I don't care if there is a little fur; it's my car!
