is there a diy to install 200 cell cats?
Im in so cal and got 200 cell cats for my 08 vantage roadster.
auto talent wants $500 to install! Will take to lcoal exhaust show and see how much they charge. but is there a diy video or photos on how to do it so i can show the exhaust shop or maybe even try it myself?

Really simple to swap out, make sure you have new gaskets. The studs are a pain but I just pressed out the one mounted on the header. Used a ball joint separator. Mounted with the 3 bolts and nuts supplied.
For CA smog, I swapped back to OEM and put the tune back to stock. It's annoying but once you're comfortable doing the swap and the tune, it doesn't take very long.

This is pretty easy and I did it with one side of the car on jack stands. It’s three nuts and a clamp. Two studs remain in the header and one in the old cat. You don’t need to press out the studs, just use fresh nuts for the header studs and a new nut and bolt for the third one. Yes, make sure you order New gaskets for them. It takes a little bit of wiggling to remove them, but pull them towards the back of the car and they will slide out.
I put 100 cell cats on mine.

The nuts on top of the cats (or secondary cats like mine 2011 V8V) are a cast iron B*&^h to get off... not sure how everyone else did it, but i got a crows foot that fit to a socket on a flexible extender.... it was a huge pain, but doable. Bought my cat deletes from redpants a few weeks ago, i bought some 10" race ramps and did the install, pretty easy, and i reused the same nuts- Hope that's ok, so far no issues....sounds much better.

sorry to resurrect an old thread... do you remove the studs? if so, how? also the system doesn't want to seem to move much towards the back, if the studs came out it would be easy but I'm kind of stumped... had no issue getting any of the bolts undone... will the system actually move back if I take the T30 torx screws off the mid pipe harness? also was only able to get the front oxygen sensors off, rear ones are proving to be a pain because not enough space

I have a 2015 so the cats will be different than yours. However, loosening the midpipes bolts help tremendously as I was then able to move the whole exhaust system towards the rear a good amount to easily clear the studs.
Good luck

When I did replace my original cat with 200 cells a year ago I pushed all the studs out of the header and cats to help slide out the cats easier. I use this tool which is usually used to push ball joints
