95 E36 M3 Track car (Bay Area)
Year: 1995
Make: BMW
Model: M3
Price: $15000
Mileage: 1000000
Color: Yellow
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
1995 M3
I bought the car from a friend who wanted to do some Lemons racing with it, whacked a K-wall, fixed it, then decided it was too nice to keep doing that.
I replaced a ton of stuff and had TCDesign maintain car as a reliable/safe HPDE setup with lots of data acquisition for coaching.
Highlights:
S52 swap OBD1 (I believe dinan tune + pistons and stuff like oil baffle - I have records in garage)
Ground Control SA setup + camber plates
AIM MXL2 + Smartycam (TPS, Water, Brake sensors)
CM twindisk + LWFW
TC rebuilt strut towers
SPC adjustable camber arms
ground control roll center correction
bimmerworld dual fuel pump
255/40 NT01s & 17x8.5 TR motorsports wheels (with spare rim)
PFC08 pads
Bimmerworld race exhaust modified for vband race muffler or vband OEM (laguna mode)
fire system + window/center nets + 6pt scroths
momo wheel and nrg quick release
replaced bunch of bushings/mounts
fresh Paint
new front windshield (glass)
lexan side/rear windows w/ rivnuts
completely gutted (no wipers, headlights, windows, sunroof delete)
wired for cool shirt (thermostat, too - just need your own shirt)
other stuff I'm forgetting
medium-lights:
Custom aluminum race seat for big guy -- you probably want to bring your own and I'll keep this one
no passenger seat
lowlights:
body looks like a rescued lemons car? I replaced a bunch of panels before painting but didn't bother having everything put back to street car quality levels.
engine has small oil weep - I had Ramon @ Bavarian Motowerks try to pinpoint it but after cleaning and much effort to recreate we could barely get it to appear. Between head and block on front most passenger side. It doesn't pool under the car at track or anything so I've just kept an eye on it... and it's stayed consistent over the years.
Located in Mountain View, CA
Price: $15k (pretty sure I can tally $15k in just parts since I've owned it)
Thanks for looking!

Trailer spoken for already! Thanks for reminder, I've got 1 spare TR wheel, and a full set of bmw squares (I think 8.5s, maybe 8s?) with aged out out street tires that will convey with car.
