Transferability of Porsche CPO +1 Warranty

I will be helping my son sell his 2019 Porsche Carrera 911 4S (991.2). He is in no hurry, so we’re going to pursue a private party sale to try to realize the best value for the car.

The car has 34,700 less than 35,000 miles on it. He purchased it in May 2023 from a Porsche dealership with a 2 year CPO warranty plus a CPO +1 year Warranty Extension.

I have read that the CPO warranty would transfer with the car if it sold to a private party or a Porsche dealer. Does anyone know if the CPO +1 Warranty Extension would also transfer to a private party?

The car is very well optioned, with Sport Package, Premium Package Plus, etc., has a clean Carfax report, and presents as new. Even so, a local Porsche dealer only offered $90K for the car.

I believe a private party would be willing to pay more than $90K for the car, especially since it has 24.7 months of Porsche CPO warranty remaining, assuming both warranties are transferable.

If I didn’t already own a 911, I’d buy it!

Would appreciate any advice on the transferability of the CPO +1 Warranty Extension, plus recommendations as to the best places to advertise the car to target a private party sale.
