Struggling again with my 05 GT
Hello members,
after successfully used a head gasket sealer to repair the overheating problem, it came to an end, recently after parking the car I noticed coolant under it on the floor, couple of times found it on the floor led me to investigate further more, opened the reservoir cap next day and coolant overflow like a faucet, I guess it has a combustion lead ( gas to coolant ).
this issue means I have to replace the head gaskets.
Would ask you guys if it’s worth the repair or should I just dismantle the car and sell it as parts
if it’s better to repair, then what parts should be changed during the process.
thank you

I suggest you watch The Car Wizard's take on your issue. Of course it depends on how many miles are on the car and what condition it is in.

my GT is 60k miles only and believe it or not I really love this car!
I will go through the engine rebuilt, parts supply is the problem, so before I start opening the engine, I must have at least 90% of the parts required to replace.
so guys what parts besides headgasket should I try to fetch before starting the mission?

If you are in the USA, I have a BEB W12 that I am going to be selling soon. It's currently in my 05' right now but I'm putting in a 18k mile engine with upgraded turbos to increase horsepower. The engine in it runs fine, started it up today. It does have an oil leak that will need to be addressed, but I'm going to sell it dirt cheap just to get it out of my garage
