My parents live right under the mountain, I grew up on that road. VERY fun and VERY dangerous. I personally know some people that have passed away on that road, take it easy when going up.

I'm in for this ride as it's not too far from where I live now.

Just a word of advice, if we do go we should schedule for a time around noon, as there will be a lot of motorcycles heading up and down the mountain in the morning and they SOMETIMES like to take the entire road as they lean so to avoid hitting one of them, or them hitting us I feel this ride should be a noon thing.

The very good place to meet and round everyone up would be the parking lot to the:

It's very large parking lot that is never full and it's right off the 2 freeway. NOT THE SANTAMONICA 2!!! Just exit on Verdugo off of the 2FWY, there will be a light at the exit, don't turn, just go straight into the parking lot in front of you.

Hey bro, my fault for flaking on you, but didn't look like anyone else showed, did they? I'm in for sure this weekend, but it has to be on Sunday, the 19th. If this works for anyone else out there, lets set this thing up. My cousin will be going too in his '09 C4S Cab.

 

I went, I was alone, and man was it AWESOME!

On the way up I saw an R8 and we broke off the main road and went on a canyon carving session. I had a great time!

I'm in to doing this again if you guys want.

I'm open to Sunday the 19th at 10am.

You guys can make up for flaking by getting me coffee

We had a great time! The weather was awesome! No cops until we got to the top. Couldn't have asked for more.

We got together at the bagel shop in the parking lot and then filled up and the Shell station right under the hill. Right when we were leaving a 914 saw us and joined, I don't know who that was but that thing was a rocket! It was on our *** almost the entire time.

We were mild until we got to "Upper Big Tujunga Canyon" or some may call it "9 mile".

I absolutely love that little stretch of road, it's clean, wide, VERY little traffic.

We split off at the end of that run, Branvive996, his buddy and I went up to Newcomb's Ranch and relaxed a bit

For those of you who didn't show up, you missed it. We had a great time, I'm sure we'll do one again, don't know when, and no, I'm not waking anyone up. However next time around we need to get some cigars at light them up at the top of the hill!!!
