Early this week the Southern California car community lost a great friend. John Higholt passed away at 33. He truly had a passion for the cars, drove them, and shared them with everyone. Many may know him from Ferrari-Chat as yellowenzo123. I know many people that felt profoundly affected by John, as he shared many great experiences, often giving rides in his Enzo and letting people drive his other cars. He often brought several of his cars to Supercar Sunday at Village Coffee Roaster in Woodland Hills and went on runs with the local car group through Malibu. Although I did not know John personally, I've read many of his posts and stories, and several friends of mine have spoken very highly of him. He was truly an asset to the community. In John's honor, a friend of mine is organizing an event, meeting at Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills, and continuing on a run to Malibu for brunch, as John and the guys did many times.
