I'm looking at 996TT with a Fabspeed intake and exhaust but i'm worried about whether it will pass smog inspection. Anyone here have experience successfully passing with these minor mods?

 

I have the AWE exhaust and EVOMS intake, no questions asked.

 

Even with the visual inspection? Does AWE or EVOMS have carb #'s vs. the fabspeed intake & exhaust?

 

I used to have Fabspeed, the early generations with 100cell cats. passed smog with no issues.

 

I believe the exhaust is a catback. The intake is the MAXFLO and wondering whether it will pass visual. I called Fabspeed today and they said it is but they're out in PA and dont provide CARB #'s that smog testing stations look for. Looks like only one member here has testified passing.

I'm due for smog as well. Running fabspeed w/100 cell cats......we'll see how it goes.

I failed smog with Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust 2 months ago.

 

So what did you do to pass retesting?

 

No, will never sell the supra. You trator haha. Let me know if you interested in my 996 none turbo. Just put it up 4 sale today.
