Recommendation for detailer in OC?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a really good detailer in Orange County? I need my new interlagos blue M3 detailed (clay, buff, polish, etc.) to fix some minor scratches and swirl marks from the dealer. I have spoken with Moe on several occasions and inquired about having him do the work, but also want to see if anyone has any other recommendations. Moe seems great, is always very helpful, and seems to do great work, but I just don't know if I want to pay the premium. Thanks.

Moe would probably be my first choice. Only other guy in Socal with a big cult-like following is 'FMINUS'. Regular guy, has a day job, works out of his own garage (I think in Chino Hills?), but does the most meticulous detail you will ever see. Big problem is he does this as a hobby so you have to conform to his schedule.
I think he may be on this forum.

When clients come to us, they usually have a certain expectation of what their vehicle is suppose to look like. When describing over the phone the current condition, scope of work needed, and the cost, it's always a ball park.
Usually a client calls us and says they have some swirls and want paint correction. That really is a wide spectrum of what could be, and needs to be, done. We always try and give you a range of what to expect, then we fine tune it when we actually see your vehicle.
Our details can start at $3XX.00, and for some, that is even more value than they expect considering the scope of work performed. There are many guys out there that are willing to do the work for less. I cannot speak for their work. We've been here since 1995, do this for a living and not a hobby, and have always specialized in this niche. This obviously translates to great expertise in our craft that comes from years of experience.
That's one of the reasons you pay a premium when you have Glistening Perfection perform the work. We have a vast network of vendors that can do anything from tint windows to install high-end audio, etc. When you become a Glistening Perfection client, your detail and product purchase are just the beginning and the value doesn't stop there. It's about forming a relationship with people that know your vehicle and expectations better than anyone else.
Hope this makes sense. Please don't hesitate to call me, like I said, cannot remember you, and we'll match your expectations with a scope of work that's right for you.

You can try Richard Lin at Showcardetailing.com in Anaheim. He did cleanup work on my Cayman S a couple of years ago and it was top notch.
