Guys and gals, the first event was a HUGE success with over 70 cars, so we are doing it AGAIN!!! We are going to attempt monthly meets on the Second Sundays of each month. Each meet, we will attempt to do something a little different from the rest.

Yesterday morning we met with Nick (baxkar), the photographer who caught us on our Glendora Mountain Road run after the 8-11-13 event (pix available at: Aug 11th 2013 - IE Exotica - GMRRunners.com ).

We have asked Nick to put together a three or four shot hi-resolution photo package proposal for pix during the 9-15-13 VG event, freeway run and CNC sponsored BBQ afterwords. These would be 10+ Mb pix suitable for poster size printing.

The thought is that the photo package would consist of the following:

1. Victoria Gardens - near and around you and your car (possibly also a panorama style),
2. Moving photos, on the freeway during the run (which has a few issues we need to work out) or a slower-speed shot on the deserted industrial streets near CNC, and
3. A posed, static pic at or near CNC (during the BBQ).

We spent about four hours yesterday scouting some interesting backgrounds for the static shots and have spotted three or four "contender locations." Nick took about 100 photos and wants to look them over before we narrow down the location(s).

This will be a great opportunity to acquire pic files which can be used to produce some amazing "garage art" of your car (and you).

I got mine maybe 1.5 years ago. its a 09 rosso red with stripes, fire extinguisher, red calipers, silver wheels and red cloth seats. I think its the most common combination out there, lol. So might be hard to distinguish my particular car among the many scuds they sold in the past.

wow - this looks like a great event, just moved out to LA and had to sell my Elise SC before coming. I would have loved to join you, but all I have out here is a Mercedes SUV. Have fun!
