Great Detail experience in Atlanta area
x-posted on 997 forum, for badge delete fyi to 997 owners. Posted here re Southeast info...
Every time I try to work on my car, even for the simplest things, I seem to screw something up. Take a look at this photo:
I followed some instructions here, using goo-be-gone and a blow dryer, but I still crewed up. Probably got too impatient and over-rubbed, etc. This is not an easy job, and I obviously messed up. When I was doing it in the garage, I didn't notice how bad it was. When I opened the door and let the light in, and saw how bad it was - and that it wouldn't come out with a bit of spray wax, I was devastated. I'm not handy with wax and polishing (afraid of screwing that up, too), so I finally arranged to get the car detailed. I contacted Jean-Claude at Detailed Designs here in ATL, and he explained that he'd probably be able to fix it.
I got the Level 1 Paint Correction, and he not inly fixed my mess above, but helped with other scratches and micro issues.
Take a look at what a great job he did where the badge mess was:
Here are some more photos:
Thanks to Jean Claude for fixing my car. I'm enjoying my car more than ever, and plan to get a wax done every-other month. That peace of mind is really reassuring, knowing that I've got a plan to keep my car looking great.
