Try here.

If your record is clean you can also ask for deferred adjudication. Pay the fine and be a good boy for 6 months and it goes away.

i'm not sure about your state, but here i've just hired our attorney to have the get the tickets dismissed. they will represent you in court and can usually get them dismissed or reduced. then the ticket doesn't end up on your driving record.

Ft Bend Co? Eh, not good. If it was Dallas or Houston it could be as good as dimissed because the cops never show up.
Best advice I can give is plead no contest, pay the fine, don't speed through your probation and get a radar detector. I can't help but think cops in Ft Bend Co are going to have a hard on for nice cars

For deferred adjudication in Houston you have to plead guilty. You plead No Contest and the judge gets pissed.
Per former Judge Ted Poe. Deferred adjudication is a guilty plea. You are guilty and you just don't have to serve the time and/or pay a bigger fine if you are a good boy during probation. It will always be on your record. So if you screw up again the courts can see your past track history. I asked him this question during jury duty one time. I see a lot of these in my line of work.

Bend over and prepare for insertion, those guys are a$$holes out there. Plea no contest as said above and take the class. You can take it online (which sucks, but at least you don't have to go to an actual class) or if you are from Texas and have comcast cable at your house, you can order it on demand. A friend of mine did this recently and said it was much better than doing the whole class on the internet.

Yeah I know, this is like my 4th time in 10 years or so now, at least no points on my license, the other 3 I did the class also, twice online, just couldn't remember the correct way to plea.. Sending it all in shortly..

Judge or Jury?
I just got a speeding ticket, failure to signal lane change, and failure to establish financial responsibility. I showed him a copy of my insurance but he still gave me that ticket. I just got off the 610 loop onto I-10 when he pulled me over. He accused me of driving 76 on a 60 mph limit. I clearly was driving 67. I think he mistaken me for someone else. I am definitely going to fight this in court. Which is better? Judge or Jury? Please explain your answer.

Jury is always better than a judge. A judge hears these stories every day. So he is not going to have an open mind. Jury on the other hand. How many time have you sat on a jury? Never or maybe once?? Your peers on the other hand will have more feelings for you.

- are you related to anyone in law enforcement?
- do you think the poilce are always right?
- do you think people in authority never make mistakes?
- do you see the police as respected members of the community?
wait for hands to go up and go from there
