Since there is now a 3rd group (the faster group), I thought it would be a good idea for an update.

Fast Group: Newbies and people who are coming for the Drive itself. We will wait at every change of direction. We most likely will not need to pass within our group, but may pass slower cars during the drive. We will NOT have any off road(ers) and we will not have any police interaction. SAFE4NOW paced.

Faster Group: For people that have been on drives or that enjoy a spirited (but not crazy) drive. Passing of slow cars, but no dangerous passing... as with the Fast group our group will communicate and stay together. No offroaders and hopefully no police interaction... S8OWNED paced

Fastest Group: 9/10 and 10/10th drivers. Driving like they stole it... passing wherever they want, when they want, how they want. Most likely will never know there was a police car chasing them, because they never looked back... BARA paced

If you feel you are in the wrong group please let SAFE4NOW know so he can make the appropriate changes. Thank you and everyone have fun

Autoscope Park Cities has offered to buy 2 persons lunch.

We will pass out tickets at the door as everyone is coming in, we will have the hostess pull a ticket for the winner.

Also, we will ask the servers to go out into the parking lot and chose a " favorite " car, THAT driver will have their lunch paid for as well!

I may ask around to see if any other local vendors want to pitch in and cover a lunch or giveaways...

Bara, I'm going to be +1 for the ride. Count us down for 2 for lunch as well. In order to keep up w/ the fastest group, I have installed a JATO rocket on my roof to offset his 200lbs of dead weight. It has about 3000lbs of thrust and I will use it often coming out of slow corners. A lip spoiler and a fake diffuser should keep me planted. Prolly ought to keep well back of me. Call me Darwin.

 

Was that you in the silver corvette on the PK run? Think you'll be driving as modest in this one? It's like you and the other Vette were using around the curve camera's or maybe FLIR. Quote from a Gumballer "Wow, Wow What is he doing man, and I thought I was Crazy"? Then all you saw was Lonman in the silver GT2 passing the trucks and cars on the shoulder at a buck fifty or so. Can't wait!

On the PK cruise, I unintentionally promoted myself from the fast group to the fastest. So yeah, it's definitely possible.

 

Looks like your timing is perfect, you will be taking sls m3s 's spot on the list!

May I assume you will be having lunch with us as well? Will you have a passenger?

ok... Just talked to the wife about it and just about got my head taken off! On any other date she would not have an issue with it but our son is due at the end of next week and she said that I need to be home since he will only be a week old I will have to wait for the next one guys and girls! This does really suck because I was VERY excited about doing it too!
